The Joovy Kooper has an easy push with one hand and a smooth ride. The stroller has plastic wheels, but when I pushed this stroller, was so good that I could not say. The non-slip ergonomic handles are very comfortable. It weighs in at only 17.9 pounds and this stroller is not exactly lightweight, but it is lighter that my everyday.

Easy to fold
The Joovy Kooper has a typical umbrella fold. Just pull up the lock in the rear center of the stroller, push down forcefully on the secondary lock on the right side of the stroller and push forward using the handlebars. I have had this stroller for about a month now, and have used it nearly every day since it arrived. How could I give it less than 5 stars?!? It is wonderful! I did a lot of research before deciding on the Kooper, and initially had wanted a MacLaren stroller.I have put the Kooper and comparable MacLaren stroller side-by-side, and there is just no comparison. The Joovy Kooper is much more stable, seems sturdier, and has a more comfortable seat and leg rest for the child. And the canopy is the best you will find.

Even if it is raining, I can take my daughter on a short trip from the parking lot to the store without her getting completely soaked, and without dealing with a rain cover. The basket underneath provides ample storage, but remember, this is classified as an umbrella stroller.

The basket is almost as big as the one on my Chicco Cortina travel system, so I’d say that’s pretty darn good. The handles are plenty high, and have comfortable foam-covered grips. Unless you are a giant, you shouldn’t have to bend over to push the stroller.

If you use an umbrella stroller often, don’t waste $20 on a cheap one — go ahead and spring for this one around $150. You don’t want to know how much of a pain the other ones are, and you will be spoiled by the Kooper Umbrella Stroller. Just remember, it is an umbrella stroller, so it doesn’t have shocks (for bumpy terrain) and it does not have the child tray on the front. There are two parent cup holders on the back, but those also are for regular size drinks and will not fit a Big Gulp size cup.
